Registered Veterinary Nurse with over two years of post-qualification experience, dedicated to delivering high-quality care to both animals and their owners. Completed 40 hours of hands-on experience caring for a variety of animals, including cats, dogs, small mammals, reptiles, birds, goats, and horses. Developed skills in animal welfare, daily care routines, and species-specific care adaptation.

April 2022 | Volunteer | Wild Futures, The Monkey Sanctuary, Cornwall
Worked with a team to prepare meals, create enrichment, clean enclosures, and assist with maintenance tasks, ensuring high welfare standards for resident monkeys.

• 2 weeks work experience on a dementia ward at Oasis Care Home as part of my health and social care course. Here I assisted the staff by completing minor tasks such as feeding and spending time with the residents.
• I volunteered on a farm where I helped the farmer do his daily rounds feeding the animals and checking their health.
• I have undertaken a placement at Willow Child Care Centre where I spent one day a week with various age groups of young children.
• I have been a student ambassador and represented the college in several events and media coverage productions.
• In school I was a peer mediator and have training in this area.
• I have taken part in Race 4 Life and raised money for charity.
• I acted as student representative for my course at Hartpury and at City College.
• I have completed a Level 1 sailing course at Mount Batten Sailing Club.
• I have completed a Mental Health awareness day.
• I hold a valid full UK driving license and have my own car
