My role at Coffee and Vape has enabled me to gain experience in Retail. I work evening shifts here 6 days per week, (Mon-Sat). I run the shop on my own and I am responsible for the following duties: -

• Deliver excellent customer service by answering queries and providing product information.
• Greeting every customer warmly on arrival leading positive first impressions.
• Maintaining a clean shop floor and promoting a welcoming environment.
• Staying updated on current promotions and new products to provide accurate information to customers.
• Guiding customers towards appropriate products based on their preferences.
• Carrying out stock replenishment to maintain a good store appearance.
• Operating cash register with accuracy, processing cash and card transactions.

This was a part time role working 3 evening per week (Fri/Sat/Sun) in a Fast-Food takeaway.

My duties included the following: -

• Prepared food orders accurately to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Greeted every customer warmly on arrival leading positive first impressions.
• Maintained clean work area for better efficiency and hygiene.
• Managed cash register, maintained accuracy in all transactions.
• Operated fryer to create fresh and tasty fries quickly and efficiently.
• Cooked range of burgers using grill and ovens, including beef, chicken and vegan options.

During my final year at college, on my business studies course, I was asked to arrange my own two weeks work experience, I managed to arrange experience at one of the Cohens Chemist branches in Blackburn, my duties here included the following: -

· Labelling prescriptions

· Handing medicines to patients

· Speaking to customers on the phone and in store

· Operating the cash register

This was a temporary summer job whilst on Summer Holidays from School. This enabled me to gain my first insight into a working day and helped me learn some aspects of working in a warehouse environment. Whilst working here I carried out the following duties: -

• Picked, packed and dispatched consignments for timely deliveries.
• Upheld health and safety regulations, minimising risk in the workplace.
• Processed orders using handheld scanners with speed and precision.
• Received, unpacked and sorted high-volume deliveries.
