• Provide comprehensive support to the Head of Finance in financial management, loan reconciliation, and delivering expert accounting advice.
• Ensure the timely and accurate production of financial reports for management review and external audits.
• Oversee fund collection processes, issue receipts, and extract financial data from multiple platforms, including WorldPay, Cardsave, Cheque Deposits, and FastPay direct debits.
• Prepare branch-level accounts and contribute to head office consolidation, ensuring adherence to charity accounting standards (SORP).
• Process bank deposits, manage sales and purchase invoices, and perform bank reconciliations using Iplicit Cloud Accounting Software.
• Supervise and review over 120+ bank reconciliations, branch payroll processing, pension declarations, and HMRC submissions.
• Conduct inter-branch and third-party loan reconciliations, ensuring accurate elimination of intercompany balances.
• Manage depreciation schedules for freehold and leasehold assets and review valuations for investment properties.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations to identify and correct duplicate income entries through precise journal postings.
• Support branches not using Iplicit by converting their financial data into compatible formats and migrating accounts onto the Iplicit platform.
• Assist the Head of Finance in preparing consolidated statutory accounts and financial statements for audit, ensuring compliance and accuracy

• Maintain accurate records of clients’ financial transactions, including income, expenses, and payments.

• Reconcile clients’ bank accounts and financial statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

• Assist in calculating and processing payroll for clients, including deductions, taxes, and compliance with statutory requirements.

• Ensure clients’ financial operations comply with relevant regulations and assist with audits or tax filings as needed.

• Provide ongoing support for clients’ financial planning and management, ensuring efficient and transparent accounting practices.

• Report to job locations to physically count inventory using the equipment, with a primary focus on accuracy and speed.
• Inventory analysis and variance report to client.
• Additionally, cooperate directly with clients store personnel to meet differing store-specific needs.
• Routinely check over store areas to ensure work is completed, staying behind to finish any areas which have been missed.

• Participate in regular audit verifications and spot audits related to company operations.
• Support the Audit Executive in performing various audit engagements in order to analyze the adequacy of internal controls within company operations.
• Provide significant help and support in the review of company internal controls.
• Prepare audit reports and submit them on a timely basis.

• Gained valuable experience in Debtors, Creditors, Payments, Inventory Management, Bank Reconciliation, Sales and Purchase processes.
• Worked in a computerized environment and is fully conversant with packages, Microsoft Word, Excel and QuickBooks.

• Performed audit on all departments of the client such as sales, Procurement, Finance, Human resource & Operational etc.
• Assist in the preparation of the draft audit report.
• Evaluation of the overall operational & financial system controls to ensure its effectiveness & efficiency.
