The cost-of-living crisis coupled with my own fervour for social justice inspired me to take on this role as I saw so many around me struggling and a government system not working for them. Citizens Advice was an opportunity to find out more about their struggles and finally be the change I want to see.

Passion for education and a commitment to nurturing young potential led me to work with an exceptional group of 10-11-year-old students, teaching them KS2 math and English. During three hours of dedicated study every Saturday, I employed creative teaching methods that engaged their minds and ignited their enthusiasm for learning. I didn't just prepare my students for their SATs; I made sure they relished the educational journey.
