I have completed a BAHons undergraduate degree at The University of Sussex in Sociology and Criminology achieving an overall 2:1 and a 1st in my dissertation project. As a result of this degree, I have gained many social skills, great time-keeping, as well as professionalism and academic skills according to my field of work and generally in life. Recently returning from S.E Asia for four months as a solo traveler I have an open-minded outlook on life as well as the ability to organize, time keep and have improved general self-confidence and independence. I also have developed my communication skills as having to adapt to a completely different environment and various cultures and individuals encountered. During my time in Cambodia, I volunteered at A House of Strays - Animals of Our World (HOS), a UK Reg charity organization, which is non-profit. During my time there I fed, watered, cleaned, and cared for severely disabled dogs, cats, chickens, and a cow; whilst working as part of a hard-working team. In addition, this also required me to go to the vet on the occasion therefore have experienced what it is like in a vets in S.E Asia and the pressure they are under. I would like to hopefully bring the skills and experience from volunteering at HOS to a workplace involving animals, along with my generally caring nature and willingness to learn whatever is required for the job. I am team orientated, bringing an atmosphere of positivity to my workplace. I try my hardest to bring a cheerful attitude in my customer service, too. I am very hardworking, making sure my tasks are done successfully and with precision, dedicating myself to my job. With my can-do attitude I show my adaptability through the differing work roles that I take. I look forward to bringing my skills to any workplace I find myself in.
