• Provides specialist search function for the force from outdoor missing person searches to defensive venue counter terrorism level searches.
• Skilled in protestor removal, advanced method of entry and operating in a CBRN environment.

Serious Crime Division

Greater Manchester Police 2023 - 2024

• Special Task force set up to tackle serial sex offenders.
• GMPs most successful unit during its 12 month duration having the highest crime detection and case file accuracy rate within the force.
• Tasked with locating and arresting high risk sex offenders.
• Conducting suspect interviews
• Building complex case files and liaising with the Crown Prosecution Service.

• Responsible for high visibility armed response policing across the whole of Greater Manchester and Lancashire.
• Involved in reactive and pre-planned armed operations dealing with the most high level threats across the county.
• Expert in special tactics, decision making, risk assessment and planning aided through constant and rigorous training.
• Specially trained trauma medic, method of entry and advanced driving.
• Responsible in assisting the roads policing unit in roads policing, targeting organised crime groups utilising the road network
• Dealing with serious road traffic collisions and all manner of road traffic act legislation from driving without insurance to construction and use offences.
• Working in tandem with other units and organisations in order to best reach common goals.

Immediate Response Officer 2015 - 2020

• Serving a very diverse and challenging area of East Lancashire.
• Providing immediate response policing to all manner of incidents including domestic related crime, public order situations and volume crime such as street robbery, burglary and vehicle related crime.
• Proactive policing targeting repeat offenders utilising intelligence systems and local knowledge.
• Roads policing, both educating and prosecuting motorists under the road traffic act.
• Conducting thorough and indepth investigations into crime, locating and arresting offenders, preparing case files for court and attending court as and when required.
• Safeguarding vulnerable people by working in partnership with key stakeholders.

• Worked as part of the neighbourhood policing team in the city centre of Manchester.
• Built relationships between the police and local organisations such as the local council, housing office, outreach charities and safeguarding hubs to enable a better service to the community.
• Coordinated police activity such as patrol plans and signposting to prevent crime and reduce anti social behaviour.
• Assisted in local operations to reduce road crime whilst working in partnership with council taxi licensing and the DVLA.
