Since commencing the role of Operational Planning and Investigations Officer I have been able to develop many new additional skills and attributes that have greatly benefited with the smooth running of the operations team;- These include overseeing all Salesforce complaints from supporters following incidents at the games, All ReportIT email complaints, all Stadium Ops email complaints, all Kick it Out email complaints, all incidents that occur at home fixtures involving fans and Merseyside Police,(this also includes away fixtures).

The sending of all suspension and banning letters to supporters.

All CCTV investigations for both Hill Dickinson and Goodison Park.

All matchday briefing documents and power point briefings for the men's 1st team, the women's 1st team, under 21's and under 18's teams.

All Kick it out education sessions where fans have been refereed by either Merseyside Police or the courts.

I have also developed a new Acceptable Behaviour Contract that supporters are required to sign before returning the Everton if they have been involved in any incidents, suspended or banned.

The completion of the Head Stewards post-event debrief documents following all fixtures involving the men's 1st team.

Matchday radio operator / CCTV operator duties at both Hill Dickinson and Goodison Park.

Since moving to Hill Dickinson, I was the lead for developing and managing the implementation of the new operational deployment dot plans for all stewarding positions across the new stadium, as well as planning and writing the new operational matchday briefing documents for the many new roles.

The management, development and briefings for the deployment of a newly created exit stewards' team which has assisted greatly in the smooth running of matchday operations.

I am currently in the process of re-writing the stewards handbook for the 22026/27 season and the development and implementation of a new online Head Stewards matchday briefing document.

I was a serving Police Officer with Merseyside Police for over 30 years, one of my many roles, which started in 2005, was that of a Dedicated Football Officer for both Tranmere Rovers and Everton Football Clubs as well as a football spotter for both Liverpool and Everton.

Prior to retiring as police constable, I performed a variety of other operational and support roles in the large metropolitan force (Response, CID Investigations, Plain clothes drugs team, Tutor Constable, Area Training Officer (ATO), public order and personal safety trainer and A1 assessor.
