I am a flexible, reliable and self motivated individual who has great timekeeping, orgonisation and both management and social skills. Due to my current job i am used to doing long hours and because of hour high demand in terms of our performance I am very hard working. I am also more than capable of working both in terms and as an individual.
I have been working for RGIS for the past five years in which we go to a variety of different superstores around the UK and sometimes even other countries such as Norway or Italy where I take great pride and professionalism into making sure that our customers get an efficient and accurate stocktake. Due to my job being very demanding in terms of our performance I am no stranger to hard work and long hours, because of this I am able to concentrate for long periods of time.
My role as a Count Manager is to run my own stocktakes where i am in charge of managing teams of up to twenty people. My goal everyday is to deliver an efficient and accurate stocktake while delivering outstanding customer service. Managing stocktakes can be very challenging at times because it requires lots of multitasking and prioritising, due to the fact that I have to focus on running the event, managing the team and liaising with store managers. This is something I find very exciting and rewarding.
During my work experience with NVIRO I focused on the business aspect of the company to help me with my college course at the time, therefore I worked with some of their colleagues where they showed me in detail how to carry out invoices and how to manage and update payments on spreadsheets. They also allowed me to talk to customers on the phone to finalise payments. At the time this was really useful to me as it helped me with understanding how businesses are ran and gave me a chance to work on my social skills which came in use later on in life.
Di-Sparks are an engineering/manufacturing company that makes parts for F1 cars, satellites and planes. I did two weeks of work experience with them during the end of year 10 during school. Within this period i helped them with their invoices, communicating with customers over the phone about their purchases and orders, updating spreadsheets and even made some parts myself for satellites.
This work experience was very important to me as it helped me understand at an early age what the workplace environment is like and has helped me improve my communication skills, which has proved very useful to me later in life
