- This role involved cleaning a large kitchen, washing dishes but I was also required to jump onto preparing desserts and get them out and onto the tables of the customers
- I was also being trained to become a waitress and work upstairs
- I began working there when I was 12 years old and left not long after my 13th birthday
- I was left to manage a few jobs and I did that effectively every weekend, Friday afternoon until Sunday night
- This helped me to develop my key skills of team management and coping under pressure
- Placed clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in designated storage areas.
- Washed pots, pans, trays, utensils and other kitchen items.
- Stocked supplies in serving stations, cupboards, or refrigerators.

Accomplishments
- Robert Gordon University Access Programme - Applied Social Sciences, Last year I was offered the opportunity to take part in the Robert Gordon's Access Programme. I attended this after school for 3 months and the focus was on carrying out research including, surveys, questionnaires, and interviews to gather information on the impact of social media on the rising generations. This course has ultimately led me to choose Social Sciences as my HND at college. In the future I would like to either become a social worker or psychologist.
- Inverurie Academy - Prefect, During the P7 3-day visit I was part of the buddying system, and I took role as leader within my group to make sure my set of p7s days went smoothly. I have been praised for my work with the p7s by teachers and it helped to develop my teamwork skills.
