I am a caring, ambitious and motivated Social work student with a strong interest in supporting children, young people and families. My long-term career goal is to work with young people, using both my professional knowledge and my own understanding of the challenges young people can experience to make a positive difference to their lives. I am a compassionate and active listener who values building trusting relationships and treating each individual with dignity and respect. Through my studies and experiences, I have developed knowledge of safeguarding. person-centred practice, professional boundaries and supporting individuals with a range of needs. I am keen to continue developing my skills and experiences while working towards a career with children and young people.
