Summary

I have a dedicated and proactive approach to learning as I have shown with my extensive training in the pharmacy sector in becoming an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician. During this time of working in the community pharmacy industry I was always wanting to further my education and seeking to broaden my qualifications in this field. I am now seeking a career transition into education and childcare and feel like I have a lot of transferable skills into this field. Some of these skills include being skilled in communication, the ability to work in high responsibility environments and an eagerness to bring a reliable and caring aspect of myself to a school or nursery setting.

Affiliations

  • I am the proud parent of a 2 year old girl and a 5 year old boy and hugely enjoy nurturing them and organising home and outdoor activities especially during the holidays like easter egg hunts or Christmas crafts. My son is currently in reception and I find great enjoyment in helping him at home with his reading books and always try my best to attend any school activities that parents are invited to take part in.
  • I am a keen reader and have recently branched out from thriller and mystery books to more fantasy/romantasy genres.
  • I am very into health and fitness and I used to do a lot of Crossfit before unfortunately sustaining an injury but still find myself very interested in the sport while also finding other ways to keep myself active that fit in and sometimes include my family.

Certification

I am registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC) and have completed many different Centre for pharmacy post graduate education (CPPE) courses as well as being certified as an expert witness through Buttercups meaning I can help others training as a pharmacy technician and competently sign off that they can complete relevant skills according to requirements.

Custom

Although I do feel that my current career has aspects of it that is transferable into the education and childcare sector I am really looking for someone to give me a chance, provide or advise me on the relevant pathways I can go down to branch myself out into an industry that I have been thinking about getting into for a while. I am an incredibly hard working individual and pride myself on my work ethic and I would love to be able to apply this to a career I feel like I could be really passionate about.
