Following attaining an MSc in Water Engineering, I have successfully executed projects as a site engineer, demonstrating a strong commitment to quality.   • Delivering 2 projects currently: Lockwood RWPS HV Transformers and Switchgear replacement and new SEMD secure compound (£3.8million) and Coppermills WTW Cross Site Cable (900m total) and Switchgear Replacement (£2.3million) in Walthamstow.
  • Duties centred in driving projects from a technical, planning, and commercial aspects, to bring synchronicity to the entire project lifecycle.
  • Proficient in organizing cross-functional teams including the supply chain, have made time and cost savings by chairing coordination meetings between packages (Civils, MEICA, Asset Owners etc..), followed by programme updates.
  • Steering the procurement and design stages, I ensure the fit for purpose contractors are appointed. I compile specifications and issue for quotes, technical and commercial bid analyses follow and I highlight missed activities or inflated costs, negotiating price with the QS.
  • Using a strong technical background I uphold quality standards. Understanding the client brief and our contractual obligations, I track ITP reviews and carry out regular site visits and inspections – raising snags and NCOs and implementing corrective measures with site teams.
  • Built close relationships with project stakeholders: organised site visits with the clients and contractors and joint reviews of the project and wider impact, liaison with local asset owners has enabled easier resolution of issues.

  • As part of the PC site delivery team, competently oversaw the planning, execution, and delivery of water infrastructure projects, with a focus on meeting regulatory standards and client requirements
  • Duties included coordinating with Thames Water representatives and subcontractors, monitoring project schedules and budgets, ensuring compliance with HSEQ regulations, managing site personnel, resolving technical issues, and maintaining clear communication channels
  • I led client and H&S site visits which ensured project alignment with expectations
  • Notable projects I managed include:
  • 1 - Surbiton Thames Water Ring Main Transformer T1 Replacement (£1.3Millon) - Construction of new SEMD secure compounds, with RC slab foundations, new tarmac and truck pave road, and security fencing. Delivery and installation of 8T transformer and an RMU, glanding and terminating of cables, combined earthing system to suit. Connection to MCC and site PLCs for remote operation through SCADA
  • 2 - Walton AWTW GAC Run to Waste (1.8Million) - Installation of 120 metres of DN400mm RTW pipeline at up to 3m depth, complete with manholes and connections to GAC tank and outflow tank. A fabricated limpet chamber with actuated penstocks in GAC tank, with splitter chambers controlled by new water quality sampling station
  • 3 - Putney Water Booster Station (WBS) and Farnborough Reservoir and WBS in Orpington – Steered and managed surveys for pricing and design development on both projects including Trial holes, PAS128 Utility Surveys, Ultrasonic flowmeter tests, topographical surveys, 3D laser scanning, wildlife surveys and feasibility studies
  • 4 - Hampton AWTW Slow Sand Filters new Recirculation line (£7.3Million) and Hampton Contact Tank Refurb and Overbanding (£2.7Million). Aided in the delivery of the two noted projects assisting the project teams when on site and managing the sites in their entirety when teams were unavailable such as in holiday periods.

  • Utility diversions on behalf of EKFB JV for HS2 in Calvert, at section C23 along the trace, Installed a new 180mm MP gas main on open farmland
  • Duties comprised mainly of Setting out, being a temporary works and service coordinator, compiling as built drawings, and logistics planning while managing subcontractors
  • Built good working relationships and drove a high level of collaboration with the EKFB, our subcontractors, and the multitude of contractors on the vast site delivering various packages required simultaneously to complete the trackway.

  • Successfully delivered 11 projects each valued between £500K to £1.2m within the £22million Tunnels and Aqueducts (T&A) package; carrying out raw water tunnel inspections, repairs, and relining.
  • Tunnels varied in diameters from 800mm requiring an ROV to 2.5m requiring confined space entry, including work on the QE2 relining in West London
  • I supervised a host of enabling and temporary works that were required, and the short nature of some projects enabled me to carry out managerial duties and see projects through from inception to TOC
  • Duties: forecasting and programming, drafting site paperwork (e.g RAMS, QMP, EMP, CPP, ITP, PPR), problem solving and quality assurance, subcontractor management and site supervision, procurement, surveying and setting out.
