- Worked at an overnight camp in the USA for 8 weeks as a tennis coach. When not on the courts I was responsible for, and lived in, a cabin of six 12-year-old children.
- Running the tennis programme required constant teamwork as well as excellent interpersonal skills, liaising with fellow counsellors and camp directors to plan and coach sessions.
- Developed my leadership skills with the children under my supervision around the clock, this demanded a high work ethic and strong communication to deal with difficult situations that arose.

- Produced a presentation on employment contracts for the Managing Director. This was my first experience of legal research and inspired my interest in working in the legal profession.
