  • Manage a programme of volunteer work parties and path maintenance annually across the Lake District fells.
  • Recruit, train, and develop volunteers and staff, creating clear progression pathways and enabling independent volunteer-led work parties.
  • Support strategic planning and project prioritisation through regular collaboration with the LDNPA Fix the Fells Ranger and Fix the Fells Partnership Manager.
  • Ensure high standards of H&S, risk management, and compliance for all volunteer operations.
  • Coach and develop staff in technical upland pathwork and volunteer supervision.
  • Manage logistics and resource allocation for upland projects across multiple Lakes-wide workstreams.
