The main duty of this job is to wash dishes and kitchen utensils and ensure that as much as possible is clean and ready to be used for service. This would involve working with other staff and organising my workspace around the sink, loading the dishwasher with what could be cleaned automatically and organising the washed and dried equipment into the correct place for use in the coffee shop.

AM Catering is a professional and dedicated outside catering company with a number of different styles of catering trailers and outside catering equipment ranging from Coffee Vans to Chip Trailers and Wood Fired Pizza Buses.

This has given me a lot of experience in moving this equipment around to the correct place within the venues, moving stock and food stuffs around to the different locations and working with the onsite staff to help make and prepare food as and when it is needed.

From making teas/coffess to blanch frying chips and pre-preparing burgers and other hot food, all of this has helped in developing my cooking skills and time management when the sites are busy and people are queuing for food.

I especially enjoyed working on the Pizza bus preparing bases and cooking pizzas on the bus after someone had taken an order from the customer.

I also have experience in towing larger trailers and generators around venues and setting them up as and when required.

When working here is was responsible for cleaning customer vehicles and preparing new vehicles for sale. This involved cleaning inside and out and working on engine bays to ensure the car was clean and presentable for sale.
