This was opened as a brand new business last year, in the first 12 months we have turned over 4m and I have been right at the centre of building our brand. We are now seen as a reputable business which have 2 gangs operating. I am the Operations Contract Manager for a Machine Lay Gang and also a Hand Lay Gang.

I plan the programme, book orders for all materials, booking all plant hire required.

I have 2 supervisors that report directly to me.

Foreman of a team that were laying HRA and chip in Derby City under restricted closures. This exposed me to the different challenges of working within a city due to the importance of roads for commuting, school runs and general rush hour traffic.

While working for Breedon Bow we worked on hire to Highways England. We had to ensure all work was correct first time, to avoid any delays in the re-opening of the roads for the morning.
