My goal is to pursue a career in engineering in the long term. I am keen to explore the possibilities and get some work experience before working out the right pathway for me to achieve this aim.

In the meantime, I am eager to begin working part-time to build my skills and confidence. I have a hardworking attitude and I am eager to learn.

I am a Corporal in the local Royal Air Force cadets, and believe that my experience there with communication, organisation and leadership skills has equipped me for the workplace.

  • Part of being an air cadet is regularly representing the organisation as a volunteer at various events. For example, car park marshalling at the South Suffolk show each year, and supporting cycling events and pumpkin picking events.
  • This has given me valuable experience with interacting with the public whilst representing the air cadets in my uniform.
  • Quickly learned the practical skills required to marshal these events.
