- Problem-solving- working with outdoor instructors in the field they often have to improvise, I was required to do this on a few occasions such as when it started raining when I was on the front desk, so I created a shelter to keep everything dry and so that customers could book in without getting soaked
- Communication skills- I am well able to listen to customers in a calm and understanding way, this allows me to meet their needs and ensure a good experience for them I am a good listener which I think is a very important part of communication and allows me to follow instructions carefully I have a friendly and warm manner with customers making them feel at ease
- Upselling - I have practised this by persuading customers to book further activities, by talking about it in an enthusiastic and and positive way and I think that my chatty style allows me to offer products in a friendly and subtle way
