Retail Assistant (Work Experience)
This was one day a week as work experience for my
Level 3 Diploma in Hair and Media Make-up course.
After successfully being awarded the Level 2 Diploma in Beauty and Complimentary Therapy studying at the Ultima Academy in New Milton I have recently completed and been awarded the Level 3 Diploma in Hair and Media Make-up studying at Bournemouth and Poole College.
I was awarded a prize for being the top student on my course and also highest attendance. I believe I have the attributes to be a key member of any team, I work well
both by myself and with others and am very meticulous in all that I do.

Reception, cash transactions and day to day duties of running the Salon solo.
Day to day duties of running a busy high end Luxury Spa.
Answering enquiries/bookings by phone/email, Spa Tours for new guests, Spa set up and checks, Creating Spa Stats, Upselling Spa Treatments/Products, Online Modules/Courses, Daily Cash up/Online Banking, Cleaning, assisting Pool Area/Bar with set up and drinks, Orders, CCTV checks and making sure the guests have the best possible experience and leave with a smile on their faces.
I spent my time at Chicken and Blues Christchurch serving the public by working in the restaurant and kitchen. I throughly enjoyed my time there and believe I developed great communication skills and knowledge on how to deal with all types of customers.
I currently work at new look in castlepoint shopping centre. Whilst this job has been challenging at times with having to deal with difficult and sometimes stressful situations, I also have throughly enjoyed my time here. My duties include- daily cleaning and maintenance of shop floor. Dealing with customers calls, serving customers on the till ensuring the end of their shopping experience is enjoyable and fast paced but never rushed. Dealing with customer complaints and enquiries. Other daily tasks of a retail assistant include, approaching customers and trying to engage in conversation to ultimately improve customer service and store sales.
