Summary

For the previous six years I have worked supporting Mental Health Issues across Neath Port Talbot in both a voluntary and professional capacity.

2019 saw a tragic suicide of a fellow committee member and friend at Trefelin BGC. Following this tragedy I was appointed as the only dedicated Mental Health Officer at a Sports Club in Wales leading a Mental Health Awareness campaign within our club which has snowballed across South Wales with a presentation aimed at breaking down stigma by sharing my own personal battle with Mental Health to nearly 2000 at present. This coupled with my professional roles have allowed me to become a very well respected , connected , knowledgeable and experienced person within Neath Port Talbot which enables me the skills to deliver a project that positively impacts Mental Health Issues in our region.
