Martin DILLON

Glasgow

Summary

I am 57 years old and left school at 16. I worked in the hotel/bar industry for over 20 years, eventually moving into management.

I was diagnosed with CFS/ME in 2004 and was unable to work for a number of years. I managed to slowly recover and during this time I volunteered as a befriender and the Citizens Advice Bureau.

My time spent with the Citizen Advice was a gateway for a return to paid work.

I volunteer to this day and I am currently walk leader for the local health walk in Milton.
