  • My PhD research is currently ongoing. It uses a qualitative exploratory approach to investigate whether the perceived roles of male migrants could be used to support FGM/C survivors' access to care in the UK.
  • Research areas and interests include female genital mutilation and its related care services, gender (men) roles in healthcare seeking, sexual and reproductive health, women's health, sensitive-related subjects, and a qualitative exploratory approach with constructivist grounded theory methodology.
  • Extensive training and consistent practice have been received in qualitative research methodology and methods, Philosophy of Research, Online recruitment and data collection methods, NVivo and EndNote, Qualitative Systematic Review, Microsoft Office 365 and some of its functionalities (Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Forms, and Sway)
  • I am a member of the maternal and child well-being research group of the School of Health Sciences.
