My department supplies to Hitachi Rail with parts for their Newton Aycliffe factory.

My role entails:

• Picking using SAP system scanning gun and printer
• LLOP, reach forklift & VNA processes to retrieve parts
• Verifying and preparing orders for delivery
• Responsible for steps of the distribution process from picking to dispatch
• Assorted stock checking, printing of labels for allocation in the warehouse
• Stock replenishment
• PI counting

My driving duties included using the company curtain sided vehicle to deliver orders to local customers, and to collect any items for return to the warehouse.

• Deliveries would consist of multiple pallet drops of fragile parts for the rail factory
• Using counterbalance FLT to load and unload vehicle
• Securing lorry loads appropriately to eliminate damage and risk
• Liaising with office personnel to verify changes to delivery schedule and taking required action to maintain customer satisfaction
• Completion of any required paperwork

• My duties in the warehouse included receiving and unloading deliveries of shipping containers and arctic trailers, and the loading of vehicles for deliveries overseas as well as within the UK

▪ During my employment in the composites industry, I have developed my skills and knowledge to cover all aspects of the Webs department within the Vestas factory. I've also undertaken 5 weeks of training at the Vestas factory in Nakskov, Denmark on the new V174 blade in April-May 22 ahead of builds in the UK.

▪ Raw material stock ordering and allocation to specific moulds by forklift truck (FLT). Filling/replacing of resin and hardener intermediate bulk containers, daily maintenance of the CI resin infusion machines. Removal and relocation of finished webs by gantry cranes and FLTs. Assisting in web builds, infusions, trimming, repairs and wet lay-ups. Liaising closely with kitting, logistics/transport departments, Webs ‘Pro-Co', Health and Safety Rep and ‘5s' Control.

• Supervision of a large production plant of dry mortar and cement products including
• Supervising staff and drivers, the loading of articulated and rigid tankers
