- As logistics manager i controlled movement of all plant and materials needed to build a £70 million 800 room student accommodation using 2 forklifts and in coordination with a crane supervisor 3 cranes .
- Communicate with all contractors on site to see what was coming to site this could be anything from steel and rebar for form work ,concrete lorries ,plasterboard ,bricks etc an d book them in using the datascope booking system .
- Managed a team of 6 traffic marshal and 2 gateman to ensure delivery vehicles where brought on to site and moved to the unloading areas and when unloaded the materials were moved around site safely by forks lift to there required locations .
- Supervise site labour in their daily duties including house keeping and safe distribution of materials site wide and take an active part in the management of up to 200 subcontractors ensuring work was carried out safely within their rams and following health and safety procedures.
- Attend daily coordination meets to help plan the days activities and weekly health and safety meetings , give site relevant and environmental toolbox talks and any other duties given by project management to aid smooth running and completion of our job .
