I have been employed as a Placement Engineer with McAleer & Rushe, and my tenure commenced in July 2022. My primary responsibility within the organization has been to contribute to the management of the Mount Pleasant phase 3/4 flagship residential project.
In this capacity, I have played a pivotal role in overseeing subcontractors and labor forces, ensuring strict adherence to health and safety protocols, environmental procedures, and maintaining the precision and efficiency of work processes. My role has entailed a comprehensive understanding of interpreting architectural drawings, facilitating site set-outs, providing clear instructions to the workforce, conducting quality assessments, and quantifying material requirements for procurement.
Throughout the course of this project, I have collaborated closely with project managers and directors to ensure alignment with the project's rigorous timelines and budgetary constraints. This multifaceted experience has allowed me to develop and apply a range of critical skills in project management and construction execution.

As an intern at Totalis Solutions in Belfast, I had the opportunity to
engage in a dynamic role that involved close collaboration with the
commercial and project management teams. My tenure at the company spanned from June 2021 to September 2021 as a summer intern,
followed by part-time employment from September 2021 to July 2022.
During my internship, I actively participated in various facets of the
organization's operations, contributing to the following key areas:

Supporting Commercial and Project Management: I closely shadowed
and provided valuable assistance to both the commercial and project
management teams, gaining first-hand exposure to their day-to-day
functions and responsibilities.

Production of Works Packages: I played a pivotal role in the creation of comprehensive works packages, encompassing tasks such as the
preparation of detailed Bill of Quantities (BoQs) and the assembly of comprehensive tender document packs for distribution to subcontractors.

Specialist Subcontractor Procurement: I was involved in the
identification and recruitment of specialized subcontractors, ensuring
their suitability for specific project requirements and objectives.

Precision Measurement Techniques: I acquired proficiency in precise
measurement techniques, utilizing both manual methods and advanced
software tools like Buildsoft Cubit to ensure accurate assessments of
project components.
