Warehouse Supervisor

DHL Supply Chain
Stansted Airport, Essex
2023.03 - 2024.12

I joined DHL in March 2023 and quickly i made my way to supervisor by December of the same year, during my time i was involved in carrying out an array of tasks such as x-ray screening goods to ensure what was being delivered to the terminal was safe and met airport regulations for safety and security as well as making sure the rest of the staff were complying with the standards set by the airport authorities and DHL respectively.

Furthermore i was tasked with ensuring vehicles were loaded correctly, completing manifests and making sure we were adhering to strict delivery windows set by the customers at the terminal, during my time at DHL i also frequently found myself covering managerial duties such as Daily Walkaround Checklists to conducting investigations into Accidents/Incidents as well as filing relevant daily paperwork complying with regulations set by the CAA.

I managed my team very well each day having to think on my feet alot of the time and solve a variety of issues that would appear throughout the day and ensured both staff morale and workflow efficiency were high whilst not being afraid to roll up my sleeves and get involved with the operation myself and assist wherever necessary.
