at a time of extreme need , during the COVID 19 crisis, I was approached by my agency and asked if I was interested in learning about eyes and eye procedures . I said yes and they placed me with SpaMedica where they were happy to train me in assisting patients with their cataract surgeries all across the field. with them I got learned to scrub for cataracts , do pre assessments on patients in view of receiving cataract surgery/ make the decision of suitability for topical procedures, I was trained in admission and drops administration on the day of surgery as well as discharge/ advise patients post surgery. we were doing a very high volume of patients , sometimes even 28-30/day
