I left St Helena school this summer and am due to start Otley rural Collage in September studying Arboriculture and Forestry .
I generally enjoyed school and am excited to start my working career.
I had an apprenticeship arranged, but through no fault of my own, this has now fallen through. I definitely want to stay on this career path, I have always loved the outdoors and nature.
I am committed to finding another apprenticeship and am ready for the challenge. I am easy going, polite and able to communicate well with all members of the community, I like to interact with others and excited to show that I am a team player who is reliable, dependable and punctual.
Due to my age I have not yet had proper paid employment, but I have worked with my dad in the construction industry. I have assisted him in building a new clay pigeon shooting range and helped manage the associated land, this involved clearing woodland, and placing boundary markers for health and safety. I have also helped during the shoots by ensuring the clay machines were fully charged, restocking the clays and any fetching and carrying that was needed to ensure that the customers had the best experience possible.
