I started my career off working for James Brothers Plumbing and Heating as an apprentice, I gained a lot of hands on experience during this time which also helped me in college to gain an understanding of the theory side of plumbing.

I developed many plumbing skills while working here, as I was working on bathrooms everyday and also did a lot of maintenance work along my mentor. This work consisted of removing and dismantling old bathroom suites, then building and putting together new appliances and installing them.

Repairs- Toilets, Radiators, Taps, waste, Traps etc .

I later went onto work for AJM Plumbing and Heating as I wanted a change from the bathroom side and a chance to develop new skills in the Heating side of plumbing.

Where we would only concentrate on Heating, I got to learn and supervise my bosses working with boilers and other heating appliances which I really enjoyed and began to understand different heating systems.

We then went onto fitting Air Source Heat pumps which I found very exciting and later learnt this was something I really wanted to get into so I went through their college to get my unvented, environmental, solar and water regulations qualifications to pursue this.

Unfortunately the company ended by going into liquidation so I am now looking for a new employer.

I'm aware I have a lot to still learn but am hoping to do that with the help of great businesses and companies.
