Maisie Barber

Southampton

Summary

I am a dedicated and compassionate student mental health nurse, currently in my final year of a Bachelor of Science in mental health nursing at the University of Southampton. I am looking for more experience in my nursing field before graduation. My journey into the nursing field was ignited through my personal experiences, which has further fueled my desire to support others in managing mental health conditions. Through my university placements over the past three years, I have developed a broad range of skills and gained valuable experience in various mental health settings, such as psychiatric intensive care units and specialised eating disorder teams. These experiences have equipped me with the resilience and confidence to thrive as a professional in the nursing field. With my strong work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to person-centered care, I am extremely confident that I will be a valuable asset to any healthcare team and contribute positively to the well-being of those I care for.
