My responsibilities as a Travel Agent include ticket sales, processing payments, and providing excellent customer service. I have also become proficient with booking technologies as well as using Microsoft Excel to track bookings and payments accurately. This role has strengthened my time management abilities, and my organisational skills as I often have to check clients in during days off, requiring strong commitment and the ability to stay organised and on top of my responsibilities. I also manage the company's social media presence on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, creating content to promote their business.
I have collaborated with former classmates on a range of personal and independent projects in both paid and voluntary roles. My work has primarily focused on producing short films and music videos, while also taking on camera operating and directing responsibilities.
I have had experience as a freelance photographer specialising in behind the scenes photography for independent films and productions, alongside promotional photography for companies and creative projects. Experienced in capturing candid on set moments, production environments, and professional promotional imagery with a strong eye for storytelling and detail.
During a work experience placement, I had the opportunity to work with Cloud9 Media on one of their shoots as a behind-the-scenes photographer. This experience not only gave me the opportunity to capture industry-standard photos, but also refined my on-set skills and professionalism when collaborating with industry experts. I also had the opportunity to work in their production office, where I got to observe how their shoots are planned, prepped, and organised. I acquired industry-based skills and knowledge during the placement
I worked Front of House in a cafe/restaurant environment, providing friendly and efficient customer service. My duties included taking food and drink orders, serving tables, preparing coffees, handling payments, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers. I regularly worked in fast paced situations, balancing multiple tasks while communicating effectively with both customers and team members.
