Front Of House Work: Greeting Customers, Asking them questions about if they have been to Wing Stop before to get a better understanding of what they may like, Taking orders for the customers, Dealing with complaints, Dealing with Deliveroo orders, Making sure tables and services are clean, such as bathrooms, handing people their orders and performing feedback checks.

Kitchen Work: Taking care of the flavours for the chicken, communicating with other stations to make sure we get orders correct, bagging the orders up for eating in or takeaway and making sure food is at the top standard.

Prep Work: Making sauces and dips in quick timing due to demand at certain times of the day, preparing wings and other chicken for cooking, handling stock in the walk-in fridge and freezers.

I try my best in every single station at work and have even been rewarded by the head office of Wing Stop for my dedication to work and always making sure I am the best I can be, whilst also supporting other co-workers.

• Measure the ingredients for meals such as our pastas, also the flour, water, yeast for the pizza dough and I also prepare the fries, chicken wings and burgers.
• I stock the shelves with products ready to use.
• Deal with boxing orders up ready for deliveries and handling the change required for them.
• Take customers orders via phone and face-to-face for takeout and delivery.
• Operating the cash register
• Using a deep fryer and the oven to prepare food.
• Unboxed and stored the supplies in fridges, freezers and on the storage shelves.
• Scrubbed and cleaned counters, glasses, dishes, food containers such as pepperoni box and sauce boxes and other containers.
• I currently work at Puccinis Restaurant and Bar in Penwortham; I first started at this job for my work experience and was hired for how well I did the job. This was my first job which I did in the evenings and weekends whilst at school.
• Now that I have left school, I continue to work there more regularly, but I am also seeking full-time employment to help enhance my skills.
• I have been in the same job for a year and 4 months and recently I have been given more responsibilities such as closing the store at night which includes making sure all machines are switched off, delivery drivers have been paid, totaled the overall earnings of the entire day and cleaning the store. Working at Puccinis has helped me adapt to different tasks and has allowed me to gain new skills including stock management, face-to-face and telephone customer service, which drastically improved my communication skills and has helped my confidence grow.
