I am a motivated and caring Nursery Assistant Apprentice with a genuine passion for supporting young children’s development. Having successfully completed GCSEs and begun an early years apprenticeship, I am eager to continue learning within a nurturing nursery environment. I am kind, reliable, and patient, with strong communication skills and a calm, empathetic approach when working with children. I take pride in being dependable and following routines and safeguarding practices. I am keen to develop my skills further, learn from experienced professionals, and be given the opportunity to grow and contribute positively to a supportive team.
Since starting my role as an Early Years Educator Apprentice at Little Stars Childcare Nursery, I have gained hands-on experience supporting the daily care, learning, and development of young children. My responsibilities include assisting with planned learning activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting children’s personal, social, and emotional development, and helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment. I work closely with qualified practitioners to observe children’s progress, support routines such as meals and personal care, and promote positive behaviour. Through this role, I have developed strong communication, teamwork, and safeguarding awareness while building confidence in supporting children’s individual needs.
As a voluntary childcare assistant at Little Stars Childcare Nursery during my time at school, I supported the nursery staff in caring for young children. My responsibilities included helping to organise activities, supervising playtime, and assisting with daily routines to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all children.
