Summary

I pride myself on being an honest person with integrity. I am reliable and trustworthy and have held responsible roles working both with children and in customer-facing settings.

I am hard working and punctual. I am regularly chosen to be a student helper at organised events, due to being personable, approachable and enthusiastic.

I have overcome adversity as I was diagnosed with dyslexia 2 years ago, but through commitment and dedication to my studies, continued to achieve high grades in my English GCSEs.

I am committed to inclusion, by helping new members feel welcome in extra curricular activities. I am passionate about creating environments where people from all backgrounds feel valued and respected.

Affiliations

  • I've been committed to my drama group (Wakefield Youth Theatre) for 12 years and I am still performing with them. Being a part of this community has strengthened my confidence and helped me work effectively within a team. At performances I am regularly selected for front of house duties ensuring a high level of customer services. These duties include money handling and ticket sales.
  • In previous years I have been an active member of, Ossett Youth Theatre. My performances include being part of an ensemble which rely heavily on working together and good communication.
  • Whilst I do enjoy being sociable and involved in group activities, I do also like spending time by myself and taking part in activities such as reading and drawing. My love for reading has developed from my dad who is an author and has always got me involved in creative writing. My love for drawing originated from my mum because she loves arts and crafts and introduced me to art at a young age.
  • I take pride in keeping myself fit by doing a number of activities including dance, running and playing tennis.
  • Music is very important to me. I have been playing the piano since I was 11 years old and the guitar since I was 12 which is self taught.
