While raising my now teenage daughter, I opted for a more flexible lifestyle, going back to my roots as a self-employed music producer and DJ.

• Set up the bar as a new venue, specifying furnishing, materials and the total food and beverage offering.
• Managed events from planning to successful completion.
• Hired staff based on budgets, event size and specialised skills required.
• Built third party supplier relationships and supervising external suppliers.
• Oversaw maintenance tasks, ensuring a well-kept facility at all times.
• Trained and mentored staff to provide high-quality service and conduct standards.

• Set up bar area daily with clean furniture, supplies and beverage stock for typical bar demands.
• Suggesting beverages based on individual tastes and ensuring regulars received personalised service.
• Took initiative in implementing waste reduction strategies, promoting sustainable practices at the workplace.
• Ordering and stock replenishment.

During this time, I held a number of roles from bar tender to manager at some of London's most vibrant bars, all closely aligned with the funk, soul and jazz scene.

During this time I was part of the Metalheadz community, producing eleven tracks with Goldie and Reinforced Records.
