Originally I started working here as a Saturday girl, my roles and responsibilities were;

• Maintained salon cleanliness for a professional environment.
• Ensured client comfort by providing excellent customer service.
• Greeted clients warmly, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
• Swept and cleaned stations after each service, maintaining hygienic standards.

In 2023 my employee invested in me to become fully qualified in eyelash extensions and pedicures, as the salon didn't offer these services at the time. Now my Roles and responsibilities include;

• Tailored services according to individual client needs and preferences.
• Kept up-to-date with latest industry developments through continuous learning and development opportunities.
• Built relationships with repeat customers fostering trust and loyalty within clientele base.
• Managed appointment bookings efficiently, ensuring punctuality for all sessions whilst maximising daily revenue opportunities.

• Created an inviting atmosphere through friendly interaction with customers.
• Managed stock levels efficiently, preventing shortage during peak hours.
• Served guests spirits, lagers and stouts at bar.
• Input orders into register, calculated bills and collected payments.
• Developed rapport with regular patrons fostering a loyal customer base.

I carried out work experience in my own time. I learnt all aspects of the business which included, pay roll, accounting and contracting services. I gain a general understanding of all the departments during my work experience. It also gave me insight of working in an office environment and an understanding of the importance of communication between colleges and clients.
