I am a compassionate, experienced, knowledgeable and motivated paramedic with over 8 years frontline experience working within the NHS ambulance service. I pride myself on being a reliable clinician in practice, assuring that patients receive the right care at the right time through prompt clinical decision making, calm and professional teamwork and communication and an excellent knowledge of pre-hospital protocols and JRCALC guidelines. I always strive to uphold safe working practice and am both experienced working autonomously, and as a part of a multidisciplinary team. I have a keen interest in training and education and have regularly mentored student paramedics on placement with good success and great feedback from students.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my career as a paramedic with the East of England ambulance service but am hoping to relocate back to the south west of England at the end of the year, or in early 2026 in order to be closer to family and to start a family of my own with my partner. I hope that in future I can be of great benefit to the SWASFT and am confident that I can represent the organisation well within the diverse communities of patients that south west ambulance service provides care for.
