Lucy Chaplin

I hold an MA in Educational Leadership and Management (Distinction) with 15 years’ experience in education, learner development, and pastoral support; fluent in four languages and CELTA-qualified. I am currently the Academic lead for the Academic Skills for Business module on the International Year One Business programme at the University of Exeter International Study Centre, with extensive experience supporting diverse cohorts in higher-education and international programmes, with a strong focus on welfare, safeguarding, engagement, and learner retention. I have strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with learners, colleagues, and external stakeholders. I am a goal-oriented and highly organised mentor, committed to supporting apprentices to succeed in structured, compliance-driven environments.
