I am a recent graduate with a passion for sport and fitness, and a motivated, ambitious team member with experience in internal communications, supervisory roles, staff training, and inclusion strategies. Through my degree and hands-on experience in playing and coaching, I have developed a deep understanding of the importance of support, teamwork, and leadership. I have applied these principles in my previous roles, where I have excelled in fostering collaboration and driving success. I am now seeking to broaden my expertise by exploring diverse roles within the sports industry.
I am honoured to serve as a coach for the Scotland Girls Handball Squad, a role I was selected for by the board due to my personal success and extensive experience in both the sport and coaching. As a coach, I serve as a role model for the players, developing and executing training sessions, as well as strength and conditioning programs. My ability to manage time, plan effectively, and communicate clearly has been essential in achieving successful outcomes. Through the squad's participation in international competitions, I have had the opportunity to travel and engage in various tournaments abroad.
Alongside the National team I assistant coach a u18's girls handball squad "Tryst".
During my recent travels across Australia, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in a variety of cultures and engage with people from diverse backgrounds. This experience enhanced my communication skills, boosted my confidence in everyday interactions, and strengthened my adaptability—key qualities that I bring to a people-focused role in HR.
