As an intelligent and determined individual with an aptitude for problem solving and decision making, I am keen to take the initiative, have proven an ability to work both in a team as well as alone and I am a strong communicator.

I have completed my TEFL qualification which enables me to teach English as a foreign language. Whilst completing this qualification, I had to improve my communication skills so that I was able to teach those who didn't possess varying amounts English language skills. Furthermore, this also taught me the importance of delayed gratification since it the learning if languages is an ever on-going process and so perseverance is required.
i have achieved my silver Duke of Edinburgh Award. The programme required me to work on my initiative, develop a level of personal resilience and learn to work effectively in a team. I was also able to develop practical life skills through having to prepare and plan ahead for my expedition and then thinking in my feet as this then became a reality in the ground. i volunteered at my local Brownies pack in order to complete this. this taught me the importance of giving back to the local community through events such as Remembrance Sunday and fundraisers as well as showing empathy and understanding towards the young participants to help them achieve their goals.
I have learnt to play the guitar to grade five level. I have also participated in dance lessons for any years which both demonstrate my dedication and hard work. I also have a love of travelling and experiencing new things.
