• At BlackRock, I was given lots of responsibility, I was given the opportunity to actively speak in meetings amongst large clients and felt extremely welcomed during my time at the company, I spent my time in their Asset management department where I was able to learn more internal details about how BlackRock has become the largest asset manager in the world and also learn about important clients of BlackRock's.

During my time at WTW, I spent time working in their pensions and investment departments, this experience provided value to my ambitions of pursuing a career in finance and helped me gain a clear understanding about which part of finance I would be interested in, working with WTW was enjoyable and an experience I wont forget, the main highlight of my time there was producing a PowerPoint which I had the opportunity to present to a number of senior employees apart of the company, this was valuable to me because it helped strengthen my confidence and my ability to present to large audience, the PowerPoint was on the difference between DB and DC in which I received strong feedback from directors at the company.

During my time at Schroders, I carried out duties in which I was given the responsibility to update client information onto their system, become actively involved in meetings with some large trustee firms as well as the opportunity to develop on my skills through producing a PowerPoint to a number of various staff ranging from graduates to the head of sales. I found my experience at Schroders valuable and an experience I truly enjoyed.

My time at Aon was informative and overall a wonderful company, every employee was welcoming and I enjoyed spending time researching the company, organising future events for the company and also speaking to a range of different employees from graduates to partners on how they have found their time at Aon, every employee was polite and kind and helped me gain a good understanding into the wealth sector at Aon, the main highlight was spending time with different teams in the wealth sector allowing me to expand my knowledge about the company.

At the end of January, I have work experience planned at PWC, PWC is one of the most recognised and most prestigious financial firms around, having the opportunity to gain an understanding and information on how PWC became a Big 4 as well as how a Big 4 operates will be an opportunity I really appreciate.
