Lytham St Annes,Lancashire

Summary

I am a senior healthcare assistant with 12 years of experience in different areas the two main ones being ENT where I started my career and currently the outpatient Department where I currently work. I feel I am a very good team member and have enjoyed working alongside lots of other NHS colleagues which has helped me gain lots of valuable skills some of the ones I enjoyed the most were the critical care unit and the major trauma unit and it was amazing to work alongside the staff in these areas and work in different ways compared to other wards, this helped me to understand different specialties and it also gave me more confidence to ask questions and gain the skills to confidently work alone when required. To describe myself more I would say I am a dedicated healthcare professional with a excellent knowledge of patient care, infection control measures, and healthcare quality standards. Proficient in handling medical emergencies, recording vital signs, and performing procedures such as phlebotomy, urinalysis, and electrocardiograms (ECG). Skilled in compassionate communication, patient advocacy, and ensuring patient comfort while adhering to health and safety regulations. I can demonstrate a strong understanding of dementia care having a done a course on this and have also done some physical training on the mobile bus that visited the hospital. In my current role I experience with medical software which is harris flex and equipment sterilisation when needed ANTT. I am Committed to delivering exceptional care and maintaining the highest standards of healthcare excellence and am happy to take on any training that is needed for this role. I feel I am a good learner and always happy to pass on any new skills learned to my colleagues if needed. I also feel I have a a good repore with patients and i always want to make sure that their visit to a hospital or doctors surgery is the best it can be for them. I would love the opportunity to talk to you more and tell you about some more of the skills I have which I feel would be great and relevant for the job.
