• I had many beautiful housekeeping roles within stunning homes with Diamond, the duties were to high standards of care and duty, with strict discretion if homes had families in residence. I worked independently when homes were empty to keep continuity of cleanliness. From apartments to 8 bedroom country homes, I was honoured to be within a great Agent run by a lady called Carol; she gave me bespoke work due to my immaculate work. With attention to every detail within homes and properties that were of high calibre clients. I thoroughly enjoyed the array of homes and one commercial being the Mackley family. I found every day never the same and a pure pleasure to maintain a beautiful home to high standards.

Housekeeping within this beautiful estate containing 15 bedrooms 14 bathrooms 8 kitchens. I applied to this housekeeping role from a simple advert in the village sweetshop. I had 6 wonderful years of service to this incredible estate, there were two housekeepers whom I shared the role of keeping Wappingthorn Manor to a very high grade of care whilst the family mainly lived abroad the English country home was kept to a high grade standard. Being a grade 2 listed building the care inside was researched and carried out to the highest standard. From silver polishing, to laundry care of fine garments, to preparing rooms for returning family, running errands, housekeeping budgets, cleaning to high standards. Keeping food pantries restocked with in date items, sorting laundry cupboards in order. Ironing to high standard of care. Routines of family discretion whilst in residence. Flexibility was important as some of the housekeeping role would include gardening and keeping the pool house clean to high standards, checking for seasonal debris. Answering calls responding to emails, organising trade people and deliveries. Helping teenage sons with trunks returning from boarding school, laundry, car journeys, shopping etc. I thoroughly loved my 6 years at Wappingthorn Manor and was very sad that Mr Meredith passed away and the estate was sold.
