· Responsible for the handling of air cargo from end to end including acceptance, processing, storage, preparation and building of freight.

· On my 12-hour day and night shifts, I consult and advise customers via phone and email on a constant basis which has massively improved my communication skills

· I deal with different categories of cargo including dangerous goods, time & temperature critical, pharma and radioactive cargo in which I must abide by strict regulations to keep within airline and country requirements.

· The job is incredibly time demanding with multiple deadlines each shift; my attention to detail must be perfect as mistakes are costly, especially with the high value freight we handle.

· Effective communication with colleagues is essential as aviation freight can be dangerous if handled incorrectly.

· Safety and security is also a major factor within the industry which ranges from cargo screening to dangerous goods checking where I hold the IATA dangerous goods certificate.

· I was tasked with training and mentoring a new member of staff until they were fully confident and fully competent in the role.

· Worked as part of a high calibre team to achieve business goals within a highly competitive food & drink market in Hale.

· A need for excellent communication & collaboration skills to contribute to team performance and high customer service levels.

· A trustworthy member of staff, where I was given the responsibility to fully close-down the bar area at the end of the night.

· Delivering high quality customer service to members in the Professional shop, the club house bar and the golf course ‘halfway house' cafe.

· Key responsibilities included running the Pro shop when the professional was coaching offsite. Managing stock levels within the cafe and Pro shop and providing excellent customer service to all golfers/ members.

· Communicating clearly with other employees as a team and being organised within my own areas of responsibility.
