I am an experienced, versatile and competent clinician with more than thirty years experience as a General Practice Nurse in the NHS, as well as having experience within other varied roles in school nursing, hospital care and clinical research. I have consolidated my nursing skills with advanced training in minor illness and diabetes care. More latterly I have focused on my passion for providing high quality diabetes care and management. I am currently employed in a fixed term role as a Diabetes Specialist Nurse working within the diabetes community service, having the privilege to serve the diabetic population of West Hampshire Additionally, I am able to offer a wealth of management and team-leadership experience (including responsibility for recruitment, interviewing, appraisals, together with annual leave and sickness management) and a flexible, professional attitude.
