Lisa Carey

This recent summer, I worked at a summer camp with children aged 12-17, within which I supervised and engaged campers in a variety of activities, as well as plan, develop, and lead programs. I was also responsible for safeguarding the wellbeing of campers, both physically and emotionally, by offering appropriate emotional support and helping them navigate challenges such as social confections, using my own initiative and calm and strategic mindset.

I was enthusiastic team member of Lidl for four years, within which I was responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining customer satisfaction, whilst completing multiple tasks in a high pressure and fast paced environment. Due to high staff turnover, my duties were often increased, and required me to adapt and prioritise tasks efficiently.

In addition to my role as a sales assistant, I was a keen member of Team Knowhow, the technical support team within my store. Whether assisting customers on the shop floor, fixing technical issues, or writing reports on unresolvable problems, I was always thinking on my feet and putting my skills to use. On top of these duties, I was striving towards numerous sales targets, to which I regularly exceeded.
