- During the shooting season I work on my local game shoot
- I learned many skills including how to work in a team as well as knowing when to be assertive.
- I had the responsibility of communicating and following instructions from the Gamekeeper to ensure the shoot ran as smoothly as possible.
- Radios were our only form of communicating with other teams and the Gamekeeper on the shoot. I held the radio for my team and was responsible for relaying correct instructions and information to ensure everyone stayed in the correct positions at all times.
- When we were in close proximity of the guns it was my responsibility to ensure the safety of my team by issuing clear and concise instructions.
- Working on Ham Farm taught me the importance of communication and giving clear instructions, since different teams were spread out in woods with constant noise.
