• I work in an acute (Organic)Dementia ward as a Staff nurse where we assess and treat people who suffer with different types of dementia conditions.

I work as a an agency Staff nurse in different nursing homes in an around county Durham area. I work under this employer as a part-time basis.I work mainly in EMI units, residential and nursing homes. My main duty is to provide a safe and effective care to my residents on a daily basis. I administer medications, update care plans, wound management and dressing, complete daily tasks allocated, communicate with diverse healthcare professionals, family members regarding physical and mental aspects of my residents.

I have been working as a dialysis nurse at Washington and Durham Satellite unit for the last one year. I really enjoy working there and it was entirely a new skill to me when I started this role but it was really interesting at the same time challenging job to me. I have gained a lot of knowledge about dialysis treatment and disease conditions, as a dialysis nurse I am looking forward to update and learn new skills in the near future.
