My camp Counsellor Experience was an incredibly formative, challenging and positive experience.

As a Camp Counsellor in the United States I had a number of responsibilities that enhanced my skills.
I lead daily archery sessions, which required planning and creativity to engage campers of varying skill levels. I was also responsible for the well-being of my campers, ensuring they participated in daily activities, including meals and hygiene routines.

  • I developed strong communication skills by interacting with a diverse group of campers and staff members whilst creating a friendly working environment.
  • I managed conflicts amongst campers for a harmonious environment at the campsite.

I have worked at Waitrose first in the spring and summer of 2022 and then returning on Christmas breaks from University that year and in 2023.

As a customer assistant at Waitrose I interacted with customers to provide great and friendly assistance while efficiently operating the checkout and processing transactions.

Additionally, I managed stock levels, maintained store cleanliness, and collaborated with team members to enhance the overall shopping experience and drive sales.

  • Collaborated efficiently with team members to maintain smooth store operations.
  • Managed high-pressure situations with ease, ensuring customer satisfaction during peak hours.
