- Working as a waiter taught me the importance of teamwork in a high stress environment, in order to remain calm under pressure and ensuring performance during peak hours.
- It improved my customer service skills by addressing customer needs and giving them a positive dining experience by proving attentive and proactive service. Learnt to resolve guest complaints promptly by listening and offering solutions, and notified restaurant management of concerns.
- Communication was key, constantly switched between three languages in order to communicate with kitchen staff and clients, and maintained smooth front of house operations.
- Efficiently managed several tables at once and collaborated with kitchen staff in order to ensure timely service.

- Created cargo manifests for Air Malta, taking into account size and weight restrictions. Which taught me the importance of attention to detail and understanding regulations in the aviation world.
- Worked with freight forwarders to manage cargo bookings. This improved my communication over email and problem-solving skills.
- Analyzed market data to identify gaps, and made a report presenting my findings, enabling the sales team to strategize future plans effectively. This allowed me to improve my data analysis as well as strategic planning.
